From a young age, I was taking photographs. As the daughter of a professional photographer, this may come as no surprise. I still have my first own camera, a pink Barbie Polaroid camera, that introduced me to the magic of instant film. Not long after, I was gifted an Olympus PEN, a half-frame camera. Its simplicity, the lack of options, point-and-shoot style and the ability to take more photos per roll made me instantly fall in love with it. But when the first digital cameras appeared, I found myself playing with photographic images everywhere, all the time. To this day, I continue to capture images using both anaolog and digital devices.
Throughout my life, I have documented my surroundings, experiences and the people around me through photography. Today, this medium remains a source of inspiration, and I use photography in printmaking as well. On this page, I show a selection of my photographic work, without a particular cohesion.
On my visual blog I have kept track of my photographic captures since my childhood. You can find it here.
